Paradise Lost... ...

pristine

autumn fog and leavesJust a quick thought of a moment in nature and time. This morning, as we traveled along 295, inching our way from 198 to PowderMill Road, I glanced to my left and for the briefest moment, contemplated the world contained in the median strip between the north and south bound lanes.

A fog still hovered in the wet air, the grass recently mown - perfectly shaped and edged - was a lovely verdant shade of dark green. Upon the green was a light dusting of newly fallen leaves from the trees living on a section of the highway. It was a slice of nature at her best.
