My mother. Guess it’s a Polish family tradition to refuse to learn to cook from your mother. My mother was born and raised in Buffalo, NY- Her birth name was Florentyna Karolyna Novakowski—a first generation Polish-American. Mom, it was said, couldn't cook to save her life when she married my dad. She especially had problems with timing things so they finished cooking at the same time... Hmmm, sounds familiar...
